NextNR designs practical, cost-effective engineering solutions that raise production, lower costs, and solve field challenges through sound fundamental engineering and highly competitive facilities and field optimization. In short, your challenges become our solutions.
We analyze your reservoir and develop innovative subsurface and surface engineering solutions, along with the facilities needed to carry every project through to completion. Our team has worked across offshore and onshore fields and sandstone and carbonate reservoirs, and served operators including Shell, Chevron, ConocoPhillips and OXY, and many independent producers, helping clients unlock the full value of their assets, whether the job is a single well study or a full-field development plan.
We also provide modularized, truck-mounted gas lift units that bring uneconomical or stalled wells back into production, and modularized, truck-mounted CNG units that turn gas that would otherwise be flared or shut in into a valuable, sellable commodity. On top of that, NextNR supplies small-scale LNG plants and trucks the LNG to the end markets.
Incorporated in Texas in 2016, NextNR provides engineering support, consulting services and related equipment across the full reservoir lifecycle, from field development planning and production optimization to EOR and the equipment that makes it all work at the wellhead.
We start by analyzing your reservoir, then build the development plan around it, whether that means a single well study or a full-field program on primary, waterflood or EOR fields, onshore, offshore or in deepwater.
Our integrated gas lift system is installed entirely at the wellhead and uses gas injection to release water lock in gas and oil wells. That means less downhole intervention, fewer workovers, and higher production.
Rather than venting or flaring wellhead and associated gas, our mobile CNG units capture, process and compress it on site, acting as a "virtual pipeline" that trucks gas to processing facilities or turns it into fuel right there in the field. That makes it a practical option for remote or scattered wells where laying a pipeline isn't economical.
NextNR also builds small-scale LNG plants and trucks the LNG out to the markets that need it, turning gas that would otherwise be stranded or flared at the field into a product you can sell.
Low production and low efficiency almost always trace back to a weak link somewhere in the chain that runs from reservoir to wellbore to surface. We work through the same process on every well: analyze, diagnose, solve, optimize, and, where it's needed, install new equipment.
Our truck-mounted and OTSG steam generators support thermal recovery for heavy oil. Steam injection creates an oil-water emulsion, though, which is why standard meters often read close to 100% water cut even when the actual oil cut is 10–15%. To solve that, we pair thermal recovery with demulsification-based metering skids that combine heating, centrifugal and flash demulsification, breaking down more than 98% of the emulsion before it's measured.
We screen, execute and optimize enhanced oil recovery programs for mature and aging reservoirs, and we provide the treatment technology that low-production, low-efficiency and late-stage wells need to keep producing economically.
From large-scale plants to compact, mobile gensets, NextNR designs and delivers power generation equipment that turns available gas into dependable electricity for facilities and remote sites alike.
We size and deliver power generation plants to match the load you actually have, from large, grid-scale installations down to compact plants built for a single facility or well pad.
We provide engineering and right-sized transformers.
We provide engineering and equipment from reputable manufacturers for your needs, whatever the application.
Whether your site runs on natural gas or diesel, our engine and genset packages range from heavy industrial units down to compact, portable power, all built to the reliability standard that oil and gas operations demand.
NextNR helps industrial CO2 emitters with capture, transport, sequestration and utilization (CCUS), develops hydrogen technology that spans everything from electrolysis to full production plants, and designs solar installations that put idle land and rooftops to work.
We work with specialized fabrication partners on electrolyzer vessels and high-power rectifier systems, the core equipment that splits water into hydrogen and oxygen for a green hydrogen project.
Beyond individual pieces of equipment, we support complete hydrogen production plants from fabrication and process integration through to commissioning, including CCUS, solid-state fuel cell systems, and hydrogen infrastructure such as fueling-station demonstration projects.
Add a solar farm to your existing property, parking lots, or farmland to generate additional income and protect the environment. We assess your space and recommend the best-fit solution, and depending on location, we may be able to manage the entire process for a smooth, efficient installation, all you need to do is collect the revenue.
Whether you're looking for technical consulting, field development support, or equipment for an oil, gas, power or hydrogen project, our team is ready to help you plan it.
Reach out with your project details, equipment needs, or partnership ideas, and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.
